Teaching

This is a fulltime study programme, so expect the workload to be approximately 40 hours/ week, including self-studies. Teaching instruction on the programme combines online learning with the aid of a digital learning platform and on-campus periods (Campus weeks) on Campus Valla in Linköping, Sweden. The courses include a mix of self-study, recorded teaching, group work, and online teaching in real time. Exactly which elements vary between courses, but you should be prepared to take part in real-time teaching and group work throughout the programme. You will need a stable internet connection.

Some specific dates to plan for are the Campus weeks (dates below) and one day for thesis presentations in early June 2026 (first year thesis) and 2027 (second year thesis).

The programme includes three periods of onsite teaching (Campus weeks)on Campus Valla in Linköping, Sweden. The dates for the campus weeks are:

Campus week 1 (first year) August 25 – August 29, 2025
Campus week 2 (first year) February 23 – February 26, 2026

You will receive a detailed schedule before each course and before each campus week. During the campus weeks we want you to be prepared to participate in classes and examinations throughout the entire weeks. Information about the first course and the first campus week will be sent out in June.

The autumn semester runs between week 34 and 3 with a break over Christmas and New Year (weeks 52 and 1) and the spring semester runs between week 4 and 23.
