Christina Reuterskiöld

Professor

Professor of Communication Sciences & Disorders/Speech-Language Pathology. My work focuses on oral and written language skills in children with and without developmental disorders.

Focus on developmental language disorder in children

My research focuses on developmental language disorder in children. My main interest is the influence of non-linguistic and linguistic context on language processing and production.

My studies have also included children with autism, children with hearing impairment and children with 22q11.2 Deletion Syndrome. I am certified as a Speech Language Pathologist by the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and the Swedish Board of Social Care. After almost two decades in the Department of Communicative Sciences and Disorders at New York University, I joined colleagues at Linköping University in 2021.
