Elisa Zattarin

PhD student

My current research involves the development of antibacterial wound dressings for the cure of infected non-healing wounds, in the ambit of the HEALiX project.

March 2020 Elisa Zatterin joined the Laboratory of Molecular Materials as a PhD student, under the supervision of Professor Daniel Aili.

Elisa Zattarin received her Master´s degree in Biomedical Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Turin (Italy) in 2017, with a specialization in Bionanotechnology and Biomechanics.

For her master thesis "Novel hydrogels from multivinyl polymerization for biomedical applications", she joined the research group of Professor Wenxin Wang at The Charles Institute of Dermatology, at the School of Medicine and Medical Science, University College Dublin (Ireland).

After working at Cellink AB (Göteborg, Sweden), a biotechnology company focused on 3D bioprinting, in March 2020 she joined the Laboratory of Molecular Materials as a PhD student, under the supervision of Professor Daniel Aili.

Her current research involves the development of antibacterial wound dressings for the cure of infected non-healing wounds, in the ambit of the HEALiX project.
