Emma Rörby

Senior Research Coordinator

As a Senior Research Coordinator at the Research Analysis Unit, I work with research strategies and research ethics support to create optimal conditions for research and development at LiU.

Research coordinator with focus on research strategy and research ethics

My role includes to work with research strategies, and to provide and monitor support to researchers, departments and senior university officers in the area of research ethics. I am also secretary for the LiU 鈥滳ommittee for the Management of Deviations from Good Research Practice (KHAF)鈥� which is responsible for the management of cases of research misconduct and other deviations from good research practice.

Previous work and academic qualifications

I defended my thesis in Molecular Medicine at Lund University in 2014. After that, I worked as an associate senior lecturer in the field of Experimental Hematology at the Faculty of Medicine, Link枚ping University. From 2021, I worked with the development of medical device products at a company in Link枚ping. I returned to Link枚ping University in 2023, but this time in a new role at the University Services.
