Visiting Professor

My research concerns person-centered cardiac investigations of manifest and subclinical cardiovascular disease. My goal is more exact methods that are less demanding on the participation of patients. My methods could be described as 鈥渃ardiac imaging鈥�

Presentation

My most important investigative tool is the population based Scapis Linkoping cohort. The Swedish Cardiopulmonary BioImage Study was initiated to study the changing pattern of cardiovascular risk factors and the expression of subclinical and overt cardiopulmonary disease in a population sample.

The aim is to identify risk markers for cardiovascular disease to facilitate early and individually adjusted interventions in middle-aged men and women with Type 2-diabetes.
