Associate Professor

I am a Senior Lecturer in quantitative logistics.

Presentation

I am a Senior Lecturer in quantitative logistics.

My research has lately been expanding into the field of response and rescue logistics and I am for example participating in the project EMMUNE – Efficient management of multiple natural events.

primarily use quantitative methods to analyze different types of planning problems. It can for instance include forecasting, flow analyzes, resource allocation, risk analysis, investment assessment and profit maximization. Within the framework of rescue logistics, it can also be about risk assessment and decision-making problems, for example how to manage resources in the event of emergent threats to life and property.

I took my Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management in 2008 here at Linköping University. In 2012 I took my Licentiate degree, and in 2014 I defended my doctoral dissertation entitled . The research during my PhD studies was about planning issues within process industries. Due to the energy intensity of this industrial segment, the importance of involving energy in planning and management issues becomes highly relevant. Cost savings and improved sustainability can be achieved in line with additional revenue from utilization of waste and by-products. This research was performed within the Process Industry Centre in Linköping supported by the Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research.
