Seyed Ruhallah Qasemi

PhD student

I am doing my research as a Ph.D. student at Integrated circuits and systems (EKS) on implantable biomedical sensors. Currently designing a low-power wireless optical sensor system on a chip (SoC).

Research Focus

I finished my master's degree in integrated circuit design focused on optical transceiver CMOS front ends and low noise amplifiers (LNA) for ultra-wideband (UWB) communication.

I continued my research path with my current Ph.D. journey targeting the design of an implantable wireless optical sensor for fluorescence detection as an integrated system on a chip. The project is funded by the (SSF) for the design of a micro-ASIC for implantable optical fluorescence detection.

Teaching Activity

Teacher assistant for projects, laboratories, and tutorials for the following courses:
Analog CMOS Integrated Circuits
VLSI Design
Digital Integrated Circuits
