Professor in Communication Electronics

Research

My research interest has been radio frequency electronics for wireless systems including wireless high speed data transmission, wireless sensor networks with low power consumption, Internet of Things for digitalization, and methodology for digitalization solutions.

Communication Electronics

We develop modular solutions with low power consumption for wireless sensor networks, wireless data transmission with focus on high data rate / low cost, and antenna and radio frequency design for broadband and multi-band communication systems.

Smart city 鈥� wireless sensor networks and cloud services

With the aid of the Internet of Things technology it is possible to measure, regulate and even send alerts for monitoring of carbon dioxide levels, particulates, temperature, humidity, levels of volatile organic compounds, vibrations in a bridge...

Wireless sensor network with green wall to improve indoor climate

We use our developed wireless sensor network to monitor and control green walls with different kinds of plants in one of our laboratories, to measure, e.g. CO2 and particular levels.

Remote monitoring and control in cultural and historical buildings

Our research on wireless sensor networks and Internet of Things have resulted in several applications including remote monitoring and control in cultural and historical buildings

Teaching

I have given courses to both postgraduate and undergraduate students, such as Radio Frequency Electronics, Radio Frequency System Design, Microwave Engineering and Principles of Internet of Things.

Research goes up the wall

In Täppan Building at Campus Norrköping an unusual but fun research project is being carried out. A wireless network of sensors, developed as part of the Smart City project, is utilized to the wall of plants.
