Teacher and researcher in road traffic safety

Presentation

As a researcher, I engage in multidisciplinary activities across Traffic Safety Management, the National Road Safety Programme, Urban Mobility Planning and Infrastructure, Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), Road User Behaviour, Traffic Calming Measures, Road Safety Audits and Inspections, and Energy Efficiency in the Transport Sector. With over 20 years of experience.

I have led and contributed to many international projects across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Europe, focusing on international cooperation in higher education, curriculum development, quality assurance, capacity building, and institutional development.

As a teacher at LiU, I deliver courses such as:
TNK091 Traffic Safety Management (MSc level, hybrid, via the ECIU Network)
TNSL16 Traffic Planning, Safety and Infrastructure (BSc level, hybrid across Sweden and the EU)
TNK126 Traffic Infrastructure (BSc level), in English and Swedish. Additionally
I offer specialised courses on “Traffic in Urban Environments” for practitioners, available both in Sweden and internationally.
