I am a psychologist with a PhD in medical science. My specialization is in psychological assessment, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and behavioral medicine. Currently, I work primarily as a clinical psychologist with assessment and rehabilitation of disabilities after injuries and diseases of the central nervous system, as well as intraoperative neuropsychological assessments during awake surgery. In addition to my clinical assignments, I am also a member of the Rehabilitation Medicine Clinic's Council for Research and Development.
My research has mainly been about investigating the effectiveness of transdiagnostic treatments for patients with chronic pain and emotional distress. An important part of my work has been to develop and evaluate treatments that combine cognitive behavioral therapy with emotion regulation strategies and skills training from mindfulness-based interventions.
Current research projects focus on developing and evaluating time-efficient strategies for reviewing evidence related to treatments and assessment methods for disabilities resulting from central nervous system injuries. A key area of interest is exploring how semi-automated reviews of scientific publications, supported by artificial intelligence, can enhance this process.
