The Haemostasis Research Group at LiU is led by Professor Tomas L. Lindahl. There are three postdocs, two PhD students and two technical personnel in the group.

We study regulation of platelet activation and interaction with coagulation- from biochemistry and genes to clinical studies on antithrombotic drugs in cardiovascular diseases and how covid-19 causes thrombosis. Furthermore, we develop new diagnostic methods.

The group has collaborations with several clinical researchers at the University Hospital in Linköping, biotechnology companies and research laboratories in Norway, England and Australia.
